Digital STL Files for 3D Printing

I designed this custom Meshtastic Solar Node enclosure specifically for deployment in trees where increased elevation can significantly improve network coverage and performance.  

It is designed to mount the coveted 1W WisMesh Booster as well as the RAKwireless WisBlock Meshtastic Starter Kit and the RAKwireless Mini Meshtastic Starter Kit.  The solar panel is a 6v 2w panel.  Amazon has it here but you can also find it on aliexpress and possibly temu.  

Whether you're camping, hunting, participating in field exercises, or preparing for emergencies, this enclosure helps you quickly deploy a solar powered Meshtastic node high above the ground for maximum coverage and network performance.

For best results, I recommend printing the enclosure in ASA or ASA-CF (carbon fiber ASA). These materials offer excellent UV resistance, weather resistance, and durability for long-term outdoor use. For the gasket, I recommend 85A TPU to achieve the best possible seal.

While this enclosure is designed for outdoor use, no 3D-printed enclosure is completely waterproof. If you plan to leave the node deployed year-round, I recommend applying a weatherproof sealant (such as Amazing GOOP® or a similar outdoor-rated sealant) around the lid to provide additional protection from moisture.

I currently use this enclosure and have successfully deployed it over 60 feet in the air using a simple Arborist throw line. The additional elevation significantly improved performance, allowing me to discover and connect with additional nodes that were previously unreachable.
